Ibro the Intelligent Boy
Once upon a time, at Ukado Community Secondary School (UCSS), Ukado, there was a student called Ibro. Almost every body in the school liked him. Even the principal liked him. This was because, Ibro was very intelligent.
Ibro became very popular in the school that had a population of over three thousand students. He earned the popularity just within two weeks of his resumption. He was in J.S.S one, but he could read very faster than even the final year students. Whenever a teacher entered their class and taught a new topic, Ibro would understand immediately and explain to his classmates after the closing hour.
One day, a teacher came to their class and gave them note. As he was writing on the blackboard, the students were copying in their notebooks. It was very surprising that Ibro was the last to finish copying the note. He had to copy from a classmate after the teacher had cleaned the board.
About a week later, they were given a test on Business Studies. The teacher gave them five questions to answer in twenty minutes. Ibro was attempting the second question when the teacher collected the scripts from them. The result of the test came out after three days and Ibro scored six all over twenty, while all of his classmates scored above twelve.
After that, they wrote another test and Ibro had the lowest score in the class. His form master heard about it and then called him. He asked him all the questions they were given in the tests and Ibro answered all, but this was done orally. His form master realised that Ibro was a slow writer. So, he advised him to buy novels and copy them in exercise books at home.
Ibro bought some text books and he started copying them in his exercise books. He kept on doing this days and nights. Later on, he would pick his writing materials when watching movies and write whatever the actors and actresses were saying. Just within a month of doing the practice, Ibro became a very fast writer.
So, the result of their final test of the first term came out and Ibro scored nineteen all over twenty. He went straight to his form master, squatted and thanked him for the advice. He showed him his test's score and the form master was very happy.
Although Ibro performed poorly in some of his tests, he still took third position in the first term. After that, he started taking first position at the end of every examination until he finished secondary school.
Are you a slow writer? Do the same thing Ibro did so that you could become a fast writer.
